The 2026 Toyota Camry Nightshade Is the Shadiest Camry You Can Buy

At its core, the 2026 Toyota Camry Nightshade is still a Camry. That means something different than it used to—the latest Camry is a powerful, efficient, hybrid-only sedan with snappy duds and an excellent array of tech and safety features. The Nightshade variant doesn’t bring any additional performance or utility to the table, but it does inject even more style into Toyota’s most recognizable sedan.
Just looking at the 2026 Camry Nightshade and at a standard Camry side-by-side, you probably won’t even tell the differences right away. But the changes are there, starting with the Midnight Black Metallic painted elements such as the grille, air curtains, side canards, door handles, mirror caps, antenna, rear diffuser, and spoiler.
The special 19-inch wheels are based on a similar design to the standard wheels on the Camry, wrapped in all-season tires. You’re also offered one of three colors: Ice Cap White, Supersonic Red, and Midnight Black Metallic.

The Nightshade Edition is a special edition that lives just above the Camry's SE trim level. It can even be combined with either front- or all-wheel drive.
Speaking of those other trims, Toyota will be adding a new color for the SE, XLE, and XSE grades, separate from the Nightshade news: Dark Cosmos. It describes the color as a “hazy blue color.” With the images Toyota provided, we’d describe it as somewhere between grey and blue, leaning more towards blue in the right light. We’re guessing it’s one of those colors you need to see in person to appreciate. Pricing and availability for the 2026 Camry have not been announced but we expect both to come soon. The 2026 Toyota Camry will be arriving at your local dealer this summer.
